Motorola SLR5500 Digital Repeater
Motorola SLR5500 repeater je skládat analog a digitaln sprvku za obchodn telekomunikan funkce. Vyuvaje dvojku na základ stavy – Digital Conventional, IP Site Connect a Capacity Plus.
The SR5500 has 7.1 SACD and DVD-Audio inputs, as well as two optical and two coaxial digital inputs. It also supports the surround balances that producers intended.
Features
The Motorola sr5500 has several features that make it an excellent choice for business applications. Its sleek form factor and compact footprint make it an attractive addition to any work environment, and its low power consumption means it will reduce your energy bills. It also comes with a three-year warranty, which is a welcome change from the typical one- or two-year policies of most audio components. Its five A/V inputs can accept component-video sources and an RCA output is included for connecting to external speakers. The sr5500 can also upconvert composite and S-Video inputs to component video. Its adjustable delay ensures that all sources and video displays are in sync. The sound quality of the sr5500 is excellent, with deep bass and clear high frequencies. The sr5500 is easy to set up and use, and it can be integrated into a multiroom system with its RS-232C port.
The MOTOTRBO SLR 5500 Series repeater is a digital radio that integrates voice and data seamlessly, offering advanced but easy-to-use features and engineered with low power consumption for a low cost of ownership. It supports MOTOTRBO systems including Digital Conventional, IP Site Connect, Linked Capacity Plus and mixed mode Digital/Analogue, and it has an IP interface that allows you to build applications and consoles directly into the repeater.
The SR5500 has an internal self-test that can detect problems and notify you of the issue. It also has a number of features that make it easy to service, such as field-replaceable power amplifiers and modems. It is able to consume 40% less power in standby than its predecessor and uses environmentally friendly materials.
Design
Motorola SR5500 repeaters are built with military-grade materials and feature weatherproof designs. They are easy to read, have excellent audio clarity and can operate in both GMRS and FHSS modes. They are a little expensive but worth it if you want the best performance and reliability available. They also use the 900 MHz frequency band shared by millions of cordless phones, so they are unlikely to interfere with them. This is a major benefit over consumer-level scanners.
The SR5500 combines all the standard surround formats and talloze in- and out-uitgangen mototrbo dp4400e voor beeld en geluid, including Dolby Headphone processing. In addition, it has a handy lip-sync function that is not found on any other receiver I have ever tested. This makes this a great set for movie lovers who want to be able to listen to the soundtrack without having to mute everything else.
It has trendy 192kHz/24-bit DACs for all channels, and a 32-bit DSP engine that upconverts all incoming video signals to component output. It is compatible with all DTS decoding formats, as well as Dolby Digital and Pro-Logic IIx. It also supports SACD and DVD-Audio analog inputs, but not HDMI. This means you will have to buy a separate switch for HDMI devices. The only other flaw I found was the lack of RCA inputs for external stereo equipment.
Performance
The Motorola sr5500 is a high-performance digital repeater with advanced features that provide a high level of security and reliability. It has a next-generation processor that is designed to offer round-the-clock operation. Its design has been validated through Motorola’s Accelerated Life Testing program and meets stringent quality criteria. It also supports several modalities, including voice and data. It is ideal for applications and consoles, offering advanced but easy-to-use features and engineered with low power consumption.
It’s a bit of an old timer by today’s standards and doesn’t boast quite the array of widgets as its peers but the SR5500 is no slouch when it comes to AV performance either. In fact our lab tests saw it deliver a decent 95W into 8ohms when used in surround mode and a solid 120W per channel when switched to stereo. It also packs trendy 192kHz/24-bit DACs for all channels and a 32-bit DSP engine plus upconverts composite and S-Video sources to component output, albeit without scaling.
With the video circuits switched off the SR5500 makes for a pretty capable hi-fi amplifier as well with a wide and open soundstage that reveals a good deal of detail to songs. It even finds a reserve of treble detail that gives a real sparkle to vocals and cymbals. And for fans of SACD and DVD-A the SR5500 also offers a selection of analog inputs.
Cost
The Motorola SLR 5500 repeater is designed to provide high reliability and a low cost of ownership. It operates on UHF or VHF frequencies (select when ordering) and supports MOTOTRBO feature sets, including IP Site Connect when connected to compatible two way radios. It also offers a next-generation receiver design and improved noise blocking to ensure that the transmissions you motorola two way walkie talkies receive are clear and intelligible. This repeater has a low thermal footprint and operates at a constant 50W transmit power, which allows for continuous operation without interruption.
The repeater is compatible with digital and analog systems, and can operate as either a single-site conventional or multi-site digital system. It can support up to dwived channels and dual voice paths on one duplex channel. In addition, it can support a variety of MOTOTRBO system architectures, including single-site conventional, IP Site Connect, Capacity Plus, and Linked Capacity Plus.
The unit is equipped with a full set of audio connections, including five A/V inputs and four digital inputs (two optical, two coaxial). However, there is no HDMI port on the unit, so you’ll need to use an external switch for component-video devices. In terms of audio, the sound is rich and full. The roar of the engines from the doomed plane in Flight of the Phoenix is especially impressive, as is the depth of the action scenes.
