Design

These industrial-grade V groove router bits are used for CNC routing to cut decorative ‘V’ grooves and lettering. They have a flat bottom to allow you to engrave wide without going too deep. They are made with high-quality carbide inserts that last longer than standard carbide tipped bits and can be used with handheld or table-mounted routers. The v-groove angle determines how much depth you can create for a given groove width. The higher the v-groove angle, the deeper the groove will be. These routing bits are designed to cut decorative ‘V’ grooves, lettering and other shapes in ACM (aluminum/polyethylene sandwich panels). The bit is brazed with carbide cutting tip on a special shank for use with handheld, table-mounted and CNC routers. ACM is used for cladding many diverse exterior and interior applications. Routing ‘V’ grooves in the ACM allows folding/creasing of the material and is especially useful for wall panel fabrication.

Cutting

The V-groove cutters by Amana are used to create decorative lettering and V-shaped grooves on signs. They are also ideal for beveling and chamfering edges. They come with a special colored coating, which makes it easy to see where you are routing. The carbide tipped router bits are suitable for use with handheld, table-mounted or CNC routers.
