12 Volt 2 Pin Waterproof Connector
High quality waterproof two wire/pin polarized connector that can be mounted in a panel of any thickness. Rubber seals on all connections and mount. Protected front and back. Polarization allows for a safe positive and negative connection that can’t be crossed.
Made with PA66 Nylon and 14AWG Tinned copper wire. It features good conductivity, high mechanical strength features and can withstand shock, vibration and harsh environment.
Material
This is a tough, metal and plastic waterproof 2-pin connector plug with an ingress protection rating of IP67 for use in harsh environments. It accepts conductors of up to 4mm2 in cross-section and has a maximum current rating of 20A. The body of the plug is made from PBT and the copper contact pins are gold-plated. The cable gland at the rear of the plug provides a watertight seal for round section, twin-core cable of 5.5 – 12mm diameter. It mates with our panel-mounted, waterproof 2 pin connector socket metal/plastic (product code P03365).

Polarization
Duraline watertight electrical connectors are designed for industrial applications that are exposed to wet locations. They have IP68 and NEMA watertight enclosure ratings when capped or mated. They have oversized solid brass and copper contacts that are over-designed to run cool and be able to survive rough conditions. These electrical connectors are molded to cable in solid rubber.
These female polarized panel connectors come with a tethered cap to cover the connection when not in use. A packing nut on the back of the male portion seals off the application cable when the two connector parts are mated together. These waterproof connectors are rated for 15 amps. A tethered cap on the male connector portion and a packing nut on the female component cover the terminals when 4 pin panel mount connector not in use to protect the connections. A waterproof silicone gasket seals the connection between the two components.
